A Quarter of a Century

Well, today is my birthday...and what have I done so far on this day of celebration you ask? I worked!

Most people must have a celebration and are obligated to have fun but not this free spirit! I was able, with much subtle manipulation to earn myself time off from fun and celebration in order to do what I really wanted which was work. And thank God I'm such a smooth talker, otherwise I'd be having a good time or something.

That being said, I've been thinking a lot about what it is to be Twenty Five and have come up with very little, only that people treat you as an adult (most of the time). I have yet to take on the role of "adulthood" and am waiting for that magical moment to hit me when all of a sudden I'll be a full adult (and I'm not talking about being tried as one).

All I do know is that roughly 1/4 of my life has passed me by and I don't have as much to show for it as I thought I would. The next ten years however are going to be drastic in the change department. I would tell you what I'm talking about but I don't wanna. <--- (would an adult say something like that? I think not!)

I read somewhere a little while back that for a male, 25 years of age is the peak time for his physical development and now that I've reached that stage, I figure it's about time I get in the best physical condition of my life. So as soon as my current job ends, which is very shortly, I'm going to begin a regimented workout schedule. I'm always looking for those to help me with it. So let me know!

The Premiere

All right people. This is an experiment.

The clincher for the making of my own blog may simply be because of the creation of Sir Faizi's blog wherein he creates a rather formal environment. Seems almost that he's writing a report to a professor in preparation for the upcoming school year. Gotta prepare eh Faizi? Wouldn't want to turn out like your brother and merely be a chiropractor, because as we all know, there's no prestige or money in that area of practice.

Ok, enough about Faizi. I think I've made my point.

So what do people write on these things? I dunno, I just started. Some great insight into the world? Perhaps my "lifetime" of experiences condensed into few paragraphs?

How about I start small and see where it goes from there? Perhaps just a one liner before I end this and here it is...

Don't worry about things you can't control.
